The Platform

What Matters to Germantown

Real priorities for the families and neighbors who call this city home.

Germantown's Character

Honor the city's agreements with residents, maintain Germantown to the standard families deserve, and restore the hometown feeling that makes this city special.

Fiscal Responsibility

Stop charging taxpayers more and delivering less. Lower taxes, reduce spending, freeze property taxes for seniors, and cut garbage fees.

Accountability & Term Limits

Two terms, then at least one term off. Government that answers to residents — not to career politicians.

Public Safety

Modernize crime prevention, fully fund police and fire, and keep Germantown one of the safest cities in Tennessee.

Schools & the 3 G's

Fight to bring Germantown Elementary and Middle School back in 2032, protect Germantown High School, and think creatively about how these buildings can serve our community for generations to come.

Edgar Babian with Germantown community members

"I have spent 51 years protecting the lives and property of the people of Germantown and Fayette County — 40 years with the Germantown Fire Department and 11 years as Fire Chief of Rossville. I know this city, its budget, and its neighborhoods, because I have served every one of them. I am asking for your vote to make Germantown feel like home again."

— Edgar Babian, Retired Deputy Fire Chief
